Panchanok Thompson was born and raised in Thailand, and moved to Texas, USA in July 2002 as an exchange student. She graduated with her RN degree and started working as a registered nurse for Huguley Hospital in south Fort Worth from June 2009 to January 2018. There, she had learned and experienced several areas in nursing such as intensive care unit, telemetry and progressive care unit, and psychiatry mental health unit. During the time working at Huguley Hospital, she obtained a Bachelor degree in Science Nursing (BSN) and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas in 2012. Having experienced herself in different areas in nursing, she found a passion in psychiatry. In 2014, she returned to school to pursue an advanced practice degree in psychiatry and graduated from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is now board certified in psychiatry, and licensed by the states of Texas.

She has been working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for over 5 years. She has experience in several areas such as inpatient, partial hospital program (PHP and IOP), consultation liaison for acute and chronic treatments, and outpatient setting where she brings her skills of medication management and psychotherapy to the population in Tarrant and Dallas county.
